United Seniors of Oakland and Alameda County want YOU to get involved!

It’s time to get geared up for the 2010 Census and we need to know we can count on you to help us ensure that OUR SENIORS GET COUNTED!

We are well aware of the need and importance of senior programs throughout Alameda County.  Your participation in completing the census questionnaire will better help government appraise and manage programs that serve seniors.

Call to Action: Each and every resident 18 and older should take advantage of the opportunity to respond to this essential survey especially seniors, persons with disabilities and immigrants.  The information you provide the Census Bureau remains confidential and is solely used for statistical purposes and can’t be used against you in any way. Citizen or Non-Citizen; if you live here you count so please fill out the census form.  The Bureau is bound to a confidentiality requirement by law (Section 221 of Title 13, Chapter 7, United States Code).  Title 13 also requires that the Census Bureau not reveal any household data or information.

Don’t let senior programs get cut, be counted!

We encourage and invite you to participate and help us help you.  Please visit the 2010 Census website, http://www.census.gov to learn more about this effort, or call USOAC office at 510-729-0852.
